Help – what do I when things go wrong?

For medical and other health problems that you have with your transplant, the transplant clinic is usually the starting point to solving them. There may be other times when you need help and don't know what to do.

For any urgent medical problems, call 000, or:

  • during clinic hours – contact the transplant clinic directly or your general practitioner
  • out of hours – go immediately to your nearest hospital emergency department

For non-urgent medical or ancillary matters discuss them at your next transplant clinic visit.

There are times you may have other non-medical problems or general queries and you're just not sure who to ask. Please contact HLTTV, and we'll do our best to answer or point you in the right direction.
