Martina McArdle is an ordinary member of the Management Committee of the Heart and Lung Transplant Trust (Victoria) Inc.
Martina received a double lung transplant in 2009, after being diagnosed with a rare lung disease called hypersensitivity pheomanitize, an autoimmune disease.
Martina was born in Dublin, Ireland and came to Australia when she was five. She is married with three adult children. Martina is involved in a family business (registered builders and bricklayers). Martina is also the Booking Officer for the Heart to Heart Respite House.
