Belinda is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to 'give back' to an organisation that provided crucial support at a challenging time. Originally from Adelaide, Belinda and family needed to move to Melbourne in 2012 so husband Mark could receive life-saving treatment at the Alfred.
Originally joining the HLTTV committee as Circulator editor, Belinda served as an ordinary committee member, patient support officer and then stepped into the president role in 2018.
Stepping away from the President role in 2022, Belinda looks forward to being an ordinary committee member, ensuring that HLTTV continues to fundraise and lobby to ensure that those on the Alfred transplant journey get the practical financial and social supports critical to making the most of a second chance at life.
