Regeneration and Orthotopic Transplantation of a
Bioartificial Lung
The
finding, reported in the journal Nature Medicine, is the second in a
month from researchers seeking ways to regenerate lungs from ordinary
cells
In the latest study,
Harald Ott and colleagues at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard
Medical School in Boston removed the cells from rat lungs to leave a
scaffolding or matrix.

The Presidents Message - June 2010 ATTENTION EVERYONE
Your annual flu vaccination is now available from your GP.
The new vaccine inculdes flu and H1N1 in the one vaccine.
You still need to have a second flu vaccination 4 to 6 weeks
after.
It
has taken awhile but finally we have got together a fairly serious and
meaningful Events Calendar for this special year. Have a browse
and let us know what you think. We have tried to bring together
some big ideas and bigger efforts from a couple of members into a series
of events which we think are appropriate for 21 in 2010.
